Carvr vs Slicely vs Slicr (2026)
15 October 2026 · 7 min read
Carvr, Slicely and Slicr do the same core job. You give them a finished email design, they cut it into image sections, and a drag-and-drop template appears in Klaviyo. The differences are in what you can send them, what comes out, which platforms they reach and how they charge. This page sets them side by side.
A note on fairness. We make Carvr. Everything about Slicely and Slicr here comes from their own websites, read on 15 October 2026, and links to the page it came from. Where their sites don’t describe something, the table says so rather than guessing.
The short answer
- Slicr is the cheapest for heavy Klaviyo-only use, with unlimited email designs at a flat price. It works from an uploaded screenshot at 600px, keeps images static and has no free tier.
- Slicely is Klaviyo-only too, with a Figma plugin, a footer builder and an AI check of offers and promo codes, priced by emails a month.
- Carvr is the one to pick when your brands aren’t all on Klaviyo, several people send, or the email has to arrive exactly as designed, GIFs and full-resolution images included. It costs more per email at high volume.

Slicely
Slicely has a Figma plugin and a web editor that takes a PNG, JPG or ZIP. It auto-detects the slice boundaries, writes AI alt text, exports images at 2×, and assembles the slices into Klaviyo’s native drag-and-drop blocks. Two extras stand out. A Footer Builder turns an image footer into live, editable text, and an AI Campaign Validator checks each section for mismatched discounts, wrong promo codes and offer errors before you send, something Carvr doesn’t do.
It names Klaviyo as its only platform and, per its terms, uploads with Klaviyo API credentials. Pricing is by emails a month, $39.99 for 90, $75 for 400 and $150 for 800, each for up to 50 brands, after a 5-day trial with 10 emails. Its pricing card and its FAQ disagree on how many brands the trial includes (30 or 2).
Slicr
Slicr is a web app. Its guide has you screenshot the full email from Figma, Canva or any tool at 600px wide and upload it as a PNG or JPG up to 10MB. AI finds the sections, you adjust them, then click each cell to add a link and alt text, with suggestions from your brand. It handles 1, 2 or 4 column sections, connects to Klaviyo by OAuth and creates a drag-and-drop template.
Its FAQ says images are processed for email at 600px width, that it imports static images only (GIFs are added in Klaviyo afterwards), and that it currently supports only Klaviyo. The pricing page lists team features and other platforms as coming soon. Brand Pro is $29 a month for one Klaviyo account and Agency Pro $79 for unlimited accounts, both with unlimited email designs, and its terms say there is no free tier.
Carvr
Carvr starts from the finished design in two ways. In Figma, select one frame or a whole campaign of them in the Carvr plugin, and Carvr reads your prototype links and puts each on the right section. From Photoshop, Canva or anywhere else, upload one PNG or JPG. It finds the cuts, lets you split a row into up to four columns of any width, compresses each image at the size you exported it, writes alt text and builds a native drag-and-drop template.
Where it goes further than either slicer above, as of October 2026,
- Three platforms. Klaviyo, Omnisend and Mailchimp, one per brand, all from one account.
- Exactly as designed. Images stay at your export size, 1200px for a 600px email, so they’re sharp on high-density screens, and GIFs in a Figma frame arrive still moving.
- Live text. With live text blocks on, text-only sections land as editable Klaviyo or Omnisend text.
- A team today. Unlimited teammates on every plan, with roles and a shared history of every email design.
- Updates in place. Change the design and Update sends only the changed sections into the same template. Each brand can also carry its own template styles and an HTML footer added to every template.
- Automation. An API, and a connector for Claude.
Where it doesn’t win is price at volume. Carvr charges per email design, so an agency sending hundreds a month to Klaviyo alone pays more than on Slicr or Slicely. Carvr’s free plan, 5 email designs a month with no time limit, is the cheapest way to compare the output for yourself.
Which should you choose?
- Slicr if every brand is on Klaviyo, you send a lot, and 600px static images are fine.
- Slicely if every brand is on Klaviyo and you want its offer and promo code check.
- Carvr if any client is on Omnisend or Mailchimp, more than one person sends, you work in Figma and want links, GIFs and live text carried across, or the result must match the design at full resolution.
More tools, from Klaviyo’s own plugin to the HTML builders, are in the best Figma to Klaviyo tools in 2026.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Carvr, Slicely and Slicr?
All three cut a finished email design into image sections and build a drag-and-drop template in Klaviyo. As of October 2026, Slicely and Slicr send to Klaviyo only, Slicr works from an uploaded screenshot with no Figma plugin described on its site, and both cost less than Carvr at high volume. Carvr also sends to Omnisend and Mailchimp, keeps GIFs animated and images at full resolution, and includes teammates on every plan.
Is Slicr or Slicely cheaper than Carvr?
At high volume, yes. As of October 2026 Slicr lists unlimited email designs for $29 a month on one Klaviyo account or $79 for unlimited accounts, and Slicely lists 400 emails a month for $75. Carvr is priced per email design, $118 a month for 100 or $278 for 300, with unlimited brands and teammates. Carvr has a free plan; Slicr has no free tier and Slicely has a 5-day trial.
Do Slicely or Slicr work with Mailchimp or Omnisend?
Not as of October 2026. Slicely names only Klaviyo, and Slicr’s FAQ says it currently supports only Klaviyo, with other platforms listed as coming soon. Carvr sends to Klaviyo, Omnisend and Mailchimp, one platform per brand.
Does Slicr have a Figma plugin?
Its site describes a web app, and its guide asks for a screenshot of the full email design from Figma, Canva or any other tool, at 600px wide. Slicely and Carvr both have Figma plugins, and Carvr’s also reads your Figma prototype links and can send text-only sections as live Klaviyo text.
Which email slicer is best for an agency?
It depends on platforms, team and volume. If every client is on Klaviyo and one person sends a lot of email designs, Slicr’s flat price or Slicely’s volume tiers are hard to beat. If clients are spread across Klaviyo, Omnisend and Mailchimp, or several people on the team send, Carvr covers every client from one account with unlimited teammates.
