Grotto Slice is now Carvr
Grotto Slice was renamed Carvr in July 2026. It is the same product, made by the same team, at a new address: carvr.ai.
What changed
- The name. Grotto Slice is now Carvr, on the site, in the app and in the Figma plugin.
- The address. slice.grottodigital.com redirects to carvr.ai, page for page, so an old link or bookmark lands on the same page here.
- The Figma plugin listing. It is the same plugin in the Figma Community, renamed Carvr. Nothing to reinstall.
What stayed the same
What the product does, and the people behind it. Accounts made under the Grotto Slice name are Carvr accounts: sign in at app.carvr.ai.
What Carvr does
Carvr turns a finished email design into a ready-to-send template in Klaviyo, Omnisend or Mailchimp. It slices the design into sections the way a person would, compresses each image, writes AI alt text, sets the link on every section, and builds a native drag-and-drop template in Klaviyo. Design in Figma and send from the plugin in one click, or export a full-length image from any other tool and use the web app.
